Most browsers will download the Ad∙attack installer to your "Downloads" folder.

Open that folder and locate the file named SetupAA.exe. Ad-Attack needs to install a system service so it can run in the background and update its blocklists automatically. This requires administrator access. Please make sure you are logged in as an administrator. Alternatively, you can right click on the icon or file name and select "Run as Administrator" to start the installation process.

When you first install Ad∙attack, it may not block every ad immediately. There are several levels of system caching that need to expire first. This can take up to 30 minutes. It will also help if you immediately select an alternative privacy respecting DNS provider from within Ad∙attack. You can choose this after Ad∙attack is installed.
